Exports
./lx mech stl writes every printable part, each variant and right twin, into
stl/: one STL per part in mm, evaluated in the file that owns it and placed on the
bed (centred on x and y, lowest point at z = 0), and prints.json, the
mesh-health report naming each part's file. A part prints as it is designed, in the rotation of
its file; the finger and thumb covers stand on their tilt cut instead, which
associations.toml declares (print_on), so every STL prints as it lies.
The STLs are tracked (Git LFS) so a builder needs no Blender; after a geometry edit run
./lx mech stl, since ./lx mech check fails while they differ from the part files. The
export is byte-stable for one Blender version; a Blender update may change the bytes, and a
fresh export settles it. A clean health report is not print approval
(open issues); print settings are in build.toml.
./lx mech export writes the scene as the website shows it (scene.glb, scene.json) into the
ignored blender/exports/. Neither command saves a .blend; the website takes both through
./lx site (tools/site/README.md).
